To Satify Her Greed

oh oh oh oh oh oh
hey hey hey ya ya

She showed me the place and then said,
"In oh-one-eight you'll find another bed.
That one will surely eat you away,
I hope you have yourself a very fine day."
Quickly spun around, stepped out and slammed,
My door behind her as she ran,
To the office at the end of the hall,
Grabbed her purse scurried off to the mall.

Her hair needs more shades.
"Take gold from the red, hide the grey."
Leather boots with sterling caps on the heels.
Scratches tickets, scarfs down a raw meal.

You know she'll pray that I'll lay and just pay.
Slowly sucking my soul all away.
In a room not fit for a stray.
On a street where the suffering stay.

Into the night I walked out.
Wanting to see what's all about.
Seems like people who are just like me.
Wondering, wandering helplessly.
I didn't think it was gonna' turn out this way.
No hope, no more dreams of better days.
The rain sent me home to realize.
One bite and I'd become paralyzed.

How will I ever get out of this?
Find some peace, a little happiness.
Within these walls appears to me.
Like she's dancing while I lie here to bleed.

A hundred broken hearts,
Lives that have been torn apart.
Sacrifices for the need.
To satisfy her greed.

oh oh oh oh oh oh
hey hey hey ya ya
Sacrifices for the need.
To satisfy her greed.
