There are a few of us around that will be alone for he holiday season so we'd like to make them aware of a Free Dinner on Christmas Day.
I'm one of the lucky ones that has a place to go to on December 25th this year otherwise I'd certainly go for the free holiday meal at the Guardian Angels Parish again this year. That's on Christmas Day.
This will be better than spending the whole day alone. That can be depressing.
I remember the 11 AM lunch from last year. The table service, candle light and soft spiritual music. The Knights of Columbus smiled at us as they handed out the platefuls of turkey and gravied potatoes. Oh ya, and a goody bag awaited the guests on the way out the door. Maybe it'll be the same again.
The event had a good vibe; the atmosphere was festive and the small crowd happy most of them.
