I'm 17 years old. I was born in Montreal Quebec. I'm an only child and a second generation Canadian. My brother is my dog Alex. I've been living in Vancouver on and off since I was 7 years old. Vancouver's always been my home away from home.
This time I've been here just over a year. Presently I'm expelled from school for graffiti violations. I think Seth Rogen's been expelled from the same school.
I've been doing art ever since I've been old enough to hold a pencil in my hand. I first started working with wood pencil crayons. I have always drawn the monsters and creatures that I make when I face my sleep.
Since early childhood I've suffered from sleep paralysis and ADHD. I've recently been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Mania. Art has been my way of surviving my reality because of the unreality which attacks me in my sleeping disorders coming to me as spirits. Often friendly but just as often scary. By drawing out my demons I identify the spirit letting it know that I know it is present. The spirits do not like seeing pictures of themselves so they leave me alone; similar to building a scarecrow.
Now I work with chalk, ink, paint and felts. I paint on paper, canvas, skateboards, guitars and basically anything else I feel like painting on.
I've just arrived at this studio and I like it.
