Alone on the Shore

I wanted to paint something on shore so I came up with this log. This is an acrylic on canvas board painting. It's only 4x6" wide and hangs in the gallery somewhere.

This is where I thought of you.
While listening to a sea song.
Craving; missing.
Trying to be strong.

I closed my eye to more tears.
Pushing pain aside.
Endures.
Cleanses and forgive.

I just thought you should know.
I loved you and missed you today.

But now I'm going to have to go.
There's nothing else that I can say.

A tear dropped on my hand and I woke up.
A bit rattled and shook-up.
But awoke nevertheless.
And loved again.
